Maternity Clothes: Of course! However, I am really looking forward to being able to wear my old clothes again.
Gender: Girl
Name: Olivia Jane
Getting Ready: Just this week, I have become very interested in doing things that will help induce my labor. I have been reading lists online with crazy ideas about how to induce your labor. My mother-in-law, Lisa, recommended that I start taking Primrose Oil capsules in the evening. With my doctor's permission I have begun to do this. I am also eating pineapple, because I have heard that can help induce labor as well. I am still walking almost everyday, because I know that it is good for me and Olivia. If you have any creative ideas on how to induce labor, I would love to hear them!
Movement: Olivia continues to move around a lot. Sometimes it is uncomfortable, because we are running out of room. However, it is such an honor to be able to share my body with my daughter during this time.
Sleep: Jon has been sick and sleeping on the couch all week. So, neither one of us have slept very well. We've also been up late most days this past week. It all caught up with me last night, when I was starting to fall asleep before dinner. I gave in and went to bed at 9:00pm and slept until almost 7:00am!
What I Miss: For weeks, I have been afraid that my feet would start to swell. Because of this, I have not been crossing my legs, so that I could try to avoid the swelling. I cannot wait until Olivia's born and I can cross my legs again! I still could cross them if I wanted to, but I am choosing not to right now.
Best Moment of the Week: The best moment this week was on Wednesday night, after Bible study when we got our car seat!! My friend Allison had an extra car seat that she wanted to give to us. I was more than willing to accept her generous offer. Now, we just have to properly secure the base in the car, so that it is ready to go when Olivia comes!
Food Cravings: This week I experienced my first really bad set of late night cravings. Wednesday night around 9:30pm I was starving and felt like I could eat a second dinner! I ended up eating a bowl of cereal which helped! I think I have had more cravings in my third trimester than I ever did in my first or second trimesters.
Symptoms: My most recent pregnancy symptom has been that my feet swell up while I am at work. I sit at a desk from 8:00am - 5:00pm and my feet cannot help but swell up. I get up and walk around about every hour, but that does not seems to help very much. The ladies I work with gave me something to put under my desk to help prop my feet up, so hopefully that will help.
Due Date: August 28th, 2012
Next Dr. Appointment: Monday, August 6, 2012 at 9:30am
Daddy: Unfortunately, Jon has been sick all week. Thankfully, we were able to get him into a clinic last night. However, this clinic cost an arm and a leg, so please pray that God will provide for us financially. The doctor there explained to Jon that he has bronchitis and a sinus infection. We filled Jon's prescription last night, so that he could begin taking him medicine. Please pray for healing and that he will get better before Olivia decides to make her way into this world.
Prayer Requests: I've already asked that you would pray for Jon. However, now I want to ask that you would pray for me.
Please pray that God would continue to give me His peace as I get closer and closer to Olivia's arrival. Pray that Olivia will be in the correct position for labor. Pray that God will give me the strength I need for my upcoming labor and delivery. Pray that these last few weeks would be a sweet time as we make our final preparations for Olivia.

Ummm, I inserted the EPO gel capsules vaginally. I stat TMI??? Anyway, that really helped soften my cervix. However, my first born was still 6 days late. I was really angry at her, especially since I was told from 34 weeks on that I would never make it to my due date. I was sooo hopeful and excited, and then she was late. And she weighed 9 lb, 10 oz and was only 20.5 inches - PORKER! LOL Praying for a healthy household and a wonderful delivery experience!
