My New Journal

My new journal!

This morning I finally set aside some time to write in my old/current journal. After doing that I realized that I only had a few pages left in my journal before I needed to get a new one. Since I combined my two journals into one I go through them a lot quicker than I did in the past. You see, I used to have a notebook for journaling and another for taking notes at church during sermons. A while back I combined them into one journal, so I could begin to compare what God was teaching me with what I was going through on a daily basis. I really love having everything together and am so glad that I switched!

All that being said, I knew that it was time for a new journal for many reasons. First, I have a new baby coming any day now! I am going to be a Mommy for the very first time! Second, I've moved out of my current Sunday school class. I will now be teaching a Sunday school class for 9th grade girls at my church. Finally, this past Sunday (August 26th) our church voted and approved a new pastor! We've been without a pastor for a year and this is a huge answer to prayer! I am excited for our new pastor to begin preaching on September 9th!

As you can see, there are a lot of changes coming my way this year. For me, a new baby, new ministry, and new pastor make up the perfect reason for me to begin a brand-new journal!

I know that in the days and weeks to come, that I will have so much to write about. I look forward to pouring out my heart to God on the pages of my journal. I look forward to the lessons that I will learn and the struggles that God will bring me through. I have no idea what my future holds, but I know who holds my future!

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." - Romans 8:28

LOOOOVE the new journal! So perfect :)

I am obsessed with new journals! I cannot wait to get to TX (for many reasons) but one of them is, I have several journals from one of my favorite companies (Paper Coterie) waiting at my parents house! YAY!

Sounds like an exciting new season coming up!!!

I was thinking you'd be a mommy by now. Any second now. Last Monday we went on a whale watching boat ride in Washington and there was a woman on there who was due to give birth "any day now". I was amazed that she was brave enough to go. It was a 7 hr ride. Yikes!
Anyway, I pray for a safe delivery for both you and Olivia.
