How Far Along: 23 weeks 3 days 

Size of Baby Newsham: Our baby is as big as an ear of corn or 8.5 in, 1.5 lbs.

Maternity Clothes: Yep I am in maternity clothes! Although, I can still fit into some of my regular clothes, with the help of the BeBand. So, at this point in time, I am wearing a combination of both until my belly gets too big. 

Gender: Girl 

Name: Olivia Jane     

Getting Ready: There are only 116 days left until my due date! Should I be panicking? At this point in time I am not panicking, just trying to do everything I can to get ready for Olivia. I know that little by little, we will get everything done.

Most recently, I have been having a lot of fun designing my Timbuk2 diaper bag!! I love Timbuk2 bags!! After doing some research online, I discovered that I could a Timbuk2 diaper bag in place of a traditional diaper bag. This made me so happy, because I wanted to find a bag that I could continue to use even after my kids are out of diapers.

My Timbuk2 bag of choice is their medium Cargo Tote. I customized the bag myself and even added the shoulder strap. The picture below is the bag that I designed. I have not bought this bag yet, but I am looking forward to getting it sometime before Olivia gets here!

Movement: Olivia moves all the time! Her favorite times to move are about an hour after I eat. She also loves to go walking with me and remains active long after I have finished my walk. I cherish every movement that I feel, because I know that once she is here I will miss this feeling.     

Sleep: This past week my sleep has been okay. I am starting to get some leg cramps which have woken me up a few times in the middle of the night.    

What I Miss: I know you do not believe me, but I don't miss anything right now. I am sure that will change as I get bigger and more uncomfortable, but today is not that day.     

Best Moment of the Week: The best moment this week came on Monday, April 30, 2012 when we welcomed our second niece into the world!!

Charissa Ann Berger was born on April 30, 2012 at 7:30am. She weighs 7 lbs 0 oz and is 20 inches long. Everyone is doing very well!! 

Food Cravings: I do not have cravings very often. However, this week on Wednesday after choir I was really craving some Chick-Fil-A ice cream and french fries. I would not let Jon take me, because it was too late. However, maybe some time this weekend we can go get this, because it sounds so good.

Symptoms: I will not experience labor symptoms for a few more months and most of my other symptoms are pretty much the same as last week.   

Due Date: August 28, 2012    

Next Dr. Appointment: Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012 at 2:30pm
I will take my glucose test that day, so please pray that I pass it!  


Daddy: This week Jon took me and Olivia flying with him to Memphis, TN!! To read more about it, click here. This was the first time that Olivia has ever been in an airplane!! I know that this is the first of MANY airplanes rides that Olivia will go on. However, it was so special to be able to go with Jon on his trip like this.
