Flashback Friday: Positive Pregnancy Tests

This morning I want to take you back to the day that Jon and I found out that I was pregnant!

The day before our anniversary, Friday, December 16, 2011, I had a feeling that I might be pregnant. So, I did some research about pregnancy tests online to find out which tests would be the most accurate. I did not want to stand by the pregnancy tests in Walmart for a long period of time, because what if someone saw me!? With an idea of what tests I wanted to get, I headed to Walmart and came out with a wide variety of pregnancy tests!

The next day on December 17, 2011, Jon and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary!! I was so excited and nervous about taking the pregnancy tests on our anniversary that I did not sleep very well. I hardly slept at all and woke up around 5:30am. I hurried to the bathroom to take a pregnancy test. I ended up taking three and they all came back POSITIVE!

Just as a side note, the digital pregnancy test was the best, because than there was no question about whether or not I was pregnant.

On the same day that I bought the pregnancy tests I also came up with a creative way to announce my pregnancy to Jon. I got him these two baby outfits and a Father's Day card. In the card, I wrote Jon a note about how much Mommy and Baby love him! I also put the pregnancy tests in the envelope, so that he would see them all at once!!

Jon was slightly annoyed that I woke him up so early on a Saturday morning. However, he was overjoyed after he opened the card and found out that I was pregnant!!

After my Saturday morning Weight Watchers meeting, Jon and I decided to take pictures with my pregnancy tests. I wanted us to have plenty of pictures of us on our special day!!
