Below are some pictures of the gifts that Michelle sent us. Make sure that you look at the authentic Haitian Tarantula, that Michelle gave Jon as a graduation gift. Yuck! As soon as I knew what it was I told Jon that he needed to take it to work with him. Of course, Jon told me that he would rather keep it at home to scare away the mouse. I guess we will see if it really works.

However, I think we could have done without the tarantula! I knew that when Michelle made one for Jason Bigelow that we would probably end up seeing one too.
On a happier, less gross note, Michelle also sent us a housewarming gift, the plant. She also sent me a lunchbox!!

So glad you got them all. Several of those items are one of a kind so it would have been tragic to have them get lost in the mail! (Especially the tarantula, because I don't want to have to do one of those again! Yuck!) I wondered as I was doing that for Jon why I was the one who kept his spider so long instead of letting him deal with it. ; )

Well you did live with me for one year of that time. So you put up with having tarantulas in our closet, although I'm sure you made yourself forget about them. =)
