Sunday we went to some of our favorite stores and resturants in Dallas that you cannot find here in Longview. We stayed the night in Arlington, Tx and got up Monday, July 5th and went to Six Flags Over Texas.
The only Six Flags that I have ever been to is in Denver, CO and it is not a Six Flags anymore. We were both very excited to have a fun day at the park. Our objective was to ride all the thrill rides in the park, which we almost rode them all, except for the rides that were closed. We had so much fun and the lines were not that bad at all. The weather was much warm then I had anticipated and I ended up getting a pretty bad sunburn.
Jon's family ended up being delayed by a storm and did not arrive in Dallas, Tx until 11pm. We were exhausted from our day at the park and decided to stay another night at Jon's Aunt and Uncle's house so that we rest and spend time with the family. We got up Tuesday morning had breakfast and then were on our way back to Longview before lunch.
We had such a great time and it was so good to see our family. I hope you enjoy the pictures below.

I didn't know that they had a six flags in Dallas... In a year or two, that will be good times when I can take Jonah there when visiting the family.
