That's right we are going to China!! As many of you know Jon grew up in Chengdu, China. It is a large city in central China. If you look at a map of China go to the middle of the country and down a little bit, you can't miss it.



The last time Jon and I were in China was four years ago. We went for several weeks shortly after we were engaged in July 2006. Jon's Grandma Newsham was sick during that time and circumstances made it so that we were not able to spend anytime with Jon's family in China.

So, earlier this year, as Jon's graduation was approaching we began to talk about where Jon wanted to go to celebrate his accomplishment. We talked about several different options. We found out from Jon's family that everyone would be in China together for Christmas, except for the two of us. After much debate and prayer we decided that the best way for us to celebrate such a big occasion would be to take Jon home to China for Christmas.

We leave December 16th, 2010 and return home January 7th, 2011. We are beyond excited!! We will continue to give you updates as we prepare for our trip throughout the coming months.
