A Pedicure and A New Haircut!

So I have wanted to go and get a pedicure for a long time. I have never had one and I LOVE painting my toe nails, so I thought that a pedicure would be perfect for me : ). This last Saturday my friend Tabitha and I went to "Fountain of Youth Spa" here in Longview. I got my haircut and a pedicure. It was such a treat. I am so thankful that Jon was willing to let me go do something special like that. However I told him that now that I have had a pedicure I am going to want to go back again : ).

It Is Finished

Well after much prayer, sweat, tears, and sleepless nights. Jon has finally completed his Certified Flight Instructor Notebook!! This is the cover, isn't it beautiful!? He did an amazing job!

It's Christmas Time..

I just love this time of year, especially the month of December. Although part of that could have something to do with the fact that I married Jon in December : ). Can you believe that we have been married for almost 2 years? Sometimes I just sit and wonder where the time has gone.

Everything changes this time of year and I love it! I thought I would post some pictures of a few new decorations that we have put up. I hope that you all have a wonderful holiday! God is so good. Love you all!!

Happy (late) Thanksgiving!!

So here are a few pictures from Thanksgiving Day. We had such a great time with Tabitha and Bryan and their family. It was so nice to be a someone's home outside of our tiny little apartment : ). We flew planes, went to 3rd grade, ate a lot, and played Seafarers!! It was a great time. We had such a fun and relaxing weekend that I did not want to come back to work. Jon and I were able to hang out a lot this weekend, which I love.

On to Christmas!! Jon's family will be in Longview with us in 12 days!! We can't wait!! There are all kinds of things that I need to get done, like mail my Christmas cards. But other then that we are just counting down the days until the rest of the Newsham's come. I hope you had a great weekend. Have fun enjoying our pictures!!

Yes, Bryan's plane got stuck in the tree. It was really funny!!

The guys first tried using a frizbee to get it down, but that did not work.

Then they broke out the ladder and a stick, and that didn't work either. So they ended up just pulling it out of the tree and breaking off two wheels.

This is after they tried to fly the plane one last time. It crashed into the ground and broke.

Settlers!! We converted some more people, it was great!

Tabitha's Dad won, but overall it was fun.
