Jon and I have been praying about a full-time job for me at LeTourneau since we moved here and we continued to tell ourselves that the Lord would provide in His timing. I know I would have wanted these events to take place differently, but God is good and He is faithful which is what we trust in.
Yesterday afternoon I received the phone call I had been waiting for. On the other end was a wonderful and sweet woman offering me a full-time position to work in the Graduate and Professional Studies office! I will be working as an Assessment Specialist, basically meaning that I will go through people's transcripts and see what they have left to take before finishing school.
This is coming at the perfect time, because Jon is right in the middle of his summer semester. He also has another part-time job at the LeTourneau hanger and as a result we have been using a lot more gas to get everywhere we need to be. Now that I have a job on campus I will not have to use the car which is going to cut down on how much gas we use on a weekly basis.
I cannot begin to express how excited I am to start working at LeTourneau University. I start at LeTourneau on June 10th. I did tell Old Navy and I am only working four more days, my last day is June 14th. It is going to be a long week next week, but I can't wait!!
Thank you for those of you who have been praying for us. We love you all!!
