As I began to cut open the package surrounding the baby loaf I could instantly smell the wonderful cheese that is Tillamook. It was amazing to slice into the block and finally eat my favorite cheese. It is crazy how much you can feel like you are back at home by adding one block of cheese to your house. Weird I know, but I just thought those of you who love this cheese like me could appreciate this as much as I did.

I love Tillamook cheese!!

For sure. I find that when I'm back in CA I look for it now. And yeah, it's expensive!!! And the Ice Cream doesn't even seem to exist out of state! I think about you everytime I eat the Tillamook Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream...reminds me of the time I lived with you and was your boyfriend.
Yeah for Tillamook! I am glad you finally caved and got some. ; ) Sigh, I will miss it when i leave too.
My Mom actually spent some time living in Tillamook before I was born... I've grown up on the stuff and nothing compares to it. I do a dance of glee when it's on sale somewhere.
I completely understand. Though I don't think it will ever go on sale in Texas, but it is nice to have it!
